Find your reading format

Choosing between PsychicOz, Keen and Kasamba starts with the kind of conversation you want—not just the first price you see.

You may want to hear a reader’s tone, type a question privately or receive a written response you can revisit under the service’s terms. A clear format, a comfortable budget and a reader whose approach interests you make that choice easier.

Which format feels right for your question?

  • Phone: consider it if hearing the reader’s voice and asking follow-up questions helps you participate. Choose a place where you can speak comfortably.
  • Live chat: consider it if you prefer typing. Check how time is billed and whether you can revisit the conversation under the platform’s rules.
  • Written: consider it for a focused theme you can describe clearly in advance. Agree on the scope and response window, because this is not the same as an immediate conversation.
  • Video: consider it if seeing a card spread or visual explanation matters to you. Look for an explicit video offer rather than assuming every reader provides it.

PsychicOz: choose the method, then the reader

Its directory of reading formats gives you a place to look for phone, chat, video or email. For a written request, ask how many questions the fee covers and whether clarification is included. For a live session, check the selected profile’s rate and availability.

PsychicOz’s screening and evaluation page describes an application-dependent process that may include interviews and test readings, followed by ongoing service monitoring. Its client FAQ directs quality concerns to its Resolution Center within 48 hours, subject to the current policy and eligibility. Read those conditions before relying on a resolution option.

Keen: distinguish live time from paid written work

Keen’s call guide says calls use the advisor’s per-minute rate and whole-minute billing. Ask how a partial minute is handled if that detail affects your budget; that wording alone does not specify a rounding direction.

The Payment Policy describes platform fees and location differences. Importantly, its Call Details guidance says the listing price includes the per-minute platform fee. Use the actual quote shown for your location and ask about unclear charges; do not automatically add the same fee twice.

For written questions, Keen distinguishes Regular Mail and Paid Mail, including Send Payment and Pay to View options. Some advisors offer readings or answers by Mail. Confirm the work, price and reply arrangement before paying.

Kasamba: agree on the written request before sending it

Kasamba’s how-it-works page describes live chat and an offline email service where you agree on a fee. It publishes a 24-hour response statement for that service. Confirm the advisor’s acceptance and timing for your own request; simply sending a message is not the same as an accepted order.

Its screening FAQ describes reviewing applicants’ qualifications, experience and specialties. You can use that information alongside the individual profile and communication style, without turning a company screening description into a promise about your reading.

Compare the complete purchase, not just a minute rate

For a live session, write down the rate displayed for you, the billed-time rule, any minimum purchase and any charge explicitly shown as additional. For written work, compare the agreed scope and fee. A low rate with a different scope is not a like-for-like comparison.

An example—not a provider quote

How a partial minute can change a total

Suppose a service charges $3 per minute and explicitly rounds each started minute up. For a 10-minute, 20-second conversation:

10:20Actual conversation time
11 minBilled under this assumed rounding rule
$3311 × $3, before any separately disclosed charge

This is an illustration of that assumed rule, not Keen’s quoted rate or a claim that all three services round alike. Do not add a fee again if it is already included in the displayed price.

Keep introductory and regular rates separate. Ask which readers and formats qualify, what purchase is required, when paid time starts and what you will pay after the offer. Our psychic reading cost guide explains more pricing structures, while the value comparison helps you weigh scope against the complete cost.

Choose the reader you want to talk with

A platform helps you find a reader; the profile helps you decide what the session may feel like. Look at the topics, tools and style the person describes. You might prefer someone who explains a tarot spread, works without tools, or welcomes a slower conversation.

Read reviews for specific service details: whether explanations were clear, questions were welcomed and the session stayed within its stated scope. A star average can be one piece of context, but it cannot decide whether you will connect with that reader. Our guide to evaluating psychic services gives those different considerations their own place.

Five things to settle before booking

  1. Purpose: what question or theme would you like to explore?
  2. Method: does the reader offer your preferred format and approach?
  3. Cost: what is the complete price and your stopping point?
  4. Privacy: are sessions or messages stored, and what access or deletion options apply?
  5. Support: how do you raise a connection, billing or service concern, and by when?

For example, “I would like to explore the pattern in how I approach relationships” leaves room for spiritual reflection and questions about choices within your control. You can adapt that focus to a live conversation or agree on it as the subject of a written request. Our reading preparation guide can help you shape that first question.

After the session, consider what felt useful and what you want to check or reflect on further. A meaningful reading need not decide your future for you. Keep your own judgment and appropriate professional support for consequential matters. Use the quality reading checklist to review the experience before deciding whether another session has a clear purpose.

Questions before you choose

Open a question for a practical answer.

1. Which service should I compare first?

Start with the format and reader you want, then compare the complete cost. PsychicOz, Keen and Kasamba each have individual offers; the most suitable choice depends on your question, communication preferences and budget.

2. Do all three offer live phone or chat readings?

Their published service information includes phone and chat. Check the chosen reader’s current methods and availability before starting.

3. Where can I look for a video reading?

PsychicOz’s directory explicitly lists video alongside phone, chat and email. Confirm that the particular reader currently offers video; do not assume a format from the platform name alone.

4. Can I purchase a written reading instead of a live session?

PsychicOz lists email readings, some Keen advisors offer Paid Mail, and Kasamba describes an agreed-fee offline email service. Confirm the scope and delivery arrangement with the selected reader.

5. Is Keen Regular Mail the same as Paid Mail?

No. Regular Mail is for simple messages and attachments. Paid Mail can involve Send Payment or Pay to View arrangements; some advisors offer readings or answers for an agreed price.

6. Does Kasamba promise that every email will be answered within 24 hours?

Its how-it-works page describes a 24-hour response for an agreed offline service. Confirm acceptance and timing for your request rather than treating an unsolicited message as an accepted order.

7. What should a written-reading agreement include?

Confirm the number of questions, subject, fee, delivery window and whether clarification is included. Ask what happens if the reader cannot accept or complete the request.

8. How should I estimate a live reading’s total?

Use the displayed rate for your location and format, the applicable billed-time rule and only charges disclosed as additional. Keep promotional and regular-rate minutes separate.

9. Should I add Keen’s platform fee on top of every listed price?

Not automatically. Keen’s Call Details help says its listing price includes the per-minute platform fee. Check the actual displayed quote and ask support about any unclear charge to avoid double-counting.

10. Does whole-minute billing always mean rounding up?

The phrase alone does not tell you how a partial minute is treated. Confirm the provider’s rule. This article’s $33 example assumes rounding up and is not a statement of Keen’s exact rounding method.

11. Are introductory offers the same as ongoing prices?

No. Check eligibility, selected readers, included time, required purchase and the rate after the offer ends. Use the regular rate when comparing a future return visit.

12. How can I choose a reader whose style suits me?

Read how the reader describes their method, tools and communication style. Look for feedback about explanations and listening, and decide whether you prefer a direct exchange, gentle conversation or a focused written response.

13. What privacy questions should I ask before booking?

Ask whether the session or messages are recorded or stored, who can access them and what deletion options apply. Review the provider’s current privacy terms and avoid unnecessary sensitive details.

14. What if a reading does not feel right?

You can end a live session and contact the provider promptly about the specific concern. Keep the transaction details and check its current support deadline, eligibility and resolution terms; a refund is not automatic.

15. Can a platform ranking guarantee an accurate prediction?

No. You can value a reading’s spiritual perspective and the way it helps you reflect, while keeping predictions open and your decisions your own.
